Noah Perlut’s Terrestrial Wildlife class captures footage of bobcats and scavenger birds

Noah Perlut, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Environmental Studies, and his Terrestrial Wildlife and Ecology students recently captured footage of bobcats, ravens, a bald eagle and a turkey vulture  in 91ÖÆƬ³§â€™s 363-acre forest.

As part of their scavenger ecology research, Perlut and his students placed two remote motion-activated cameras around white-tailed deer carcasses. Recorded in early February 2016, the cameras captured images of a variety of species.

Environmental Science and Animal Behavior major Sarah Fleishmann (’16) produced two videos from the images.
