Sean Ramey, M.F.A., associate lecturer in the Department of English, has taken on the role of Oberon, King of the Fairies, in the Fenix Theatre Company鈥檚 production of Shakespeare鈥檚 A Midsummer Night鈥檚 Dream. 

The classic summer comedy is being performed in the round, under a tree canopy, in Deering Oaks Park in Portland through August 10.

The production received a highly favorable review in the . The article describes Ramey鈥檚 Oberon as 鈥渢he most sinister, if ultimately redeemed, character.鈥

Ramey teaches Shakespeare, Speech Communication and more at 91制片厂. He is a member of the Equity Actor鈥檚 Association and can occasionally be found performing in area plays.
