Following dental school, Dr. Illuminati practiced for Vermont Dental Care, an organization that served low-income Vermonters in Bennington, VT. He relocated to Portland, ME in 1983 and worked as a solo practitioner until retiring from his private practice in 2021. He joined 91ÖÆƬ³§ as an adjunct assistant clinical professor in spring of 2024.
